Kathmandu: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has released the list of eligible companies for margin trading. According to the public listing on Tuesday, 87 listed companies are eligible for margin trading. Out of which 17 are commercial banks, 8 development banks, 5 finance and 13 hydropower group companies.
Similarly, 4 from Jeevan Bima group, 5 from Nirjeevan and 29 microfinance companies are also eligible for margin trading, NEPSE said. On the other hand, Taragaon Regency Hotel, Citizens Investment Fund, Himalan Distillery, Shivam Cements, Nepal Reinsurance Company and Nepal Telecommunication Company are also eligible for market transactions.
